Let’s talk baby wraps. I’ll be totally honest, I never used them with my first 2 kids. I felt I didn’t need them and thought they were so weird. Blame my then 21 and 23 year old self!
This time around, I realized I needed a wrap. Now don’t get me wrong, I don’t use it often. But when I do, it needs to be a good one. The Solly Baby wrap is the second one I’ve tried this time around. Let me explain why.
When I decided I needed a wrap because let’s be real, you can’t always use a stroller or do things around the house with a fussy baby, plus I was desperate (going out where strollers were not allowed) and just bought what looked good. I was told it was good and so I ran to Target and got it (not sharing brand name unless you wanna know!).
Once I got home, don’t ask how frustrating this wrap was. Firstly, the fabric was thick. So not breathable in my opinion and would overheat me and the babes. Secondly, it had a ring and said to make sure fabric wasn’t folded and was smooth and flat. Well… that wasn’t possible because the darn fabric would get stuck regardless in the rings and bunch up because it was so thick! Thirdly, you had to get it over your head a certain way, don’t ask, in order to start wrapping.
The night I needed to go out, it took me TEN minutes to get it on RIGHT. I was like “this is just not working!” I left so frustrated that night. And ever since, I never used it again. Not to mention, no matter how many YouTube tutorials I watched, it just never made any sense to me on how to use/wrap it. I ended up giving it away to someone in need. I anyways threw away the box so I couldn’t return it. Let someone else figure it out.
I then ran into the brand Solly Baby. I decided to try it and had one shipped out to me. When I received it, I knew right away this wrap was going to be THE wrap. Not to mention, the pretty light mauve color with mini white polka dots!

Solly Baby’s wraps are thin, soft, and a breathable fabric. When I took it out of the box, I instantly fell in love with it. I looked at the “instructions” booklet and let me tell you!! One time reading it and watching a tutorial once and I GOT IT! It was easy and straightforward! And you can also wrap it according to your liking whether to carry higher or lower. No rings, no crazy “put it over your head like this” crap. This wrap is the wrap to get!

I even took it with me to Disney this past winter break and when the babe got fussy, I got her in it within a couple of minutes. She just sat in the wrap comfy because she was being held by me. But I was comfortable holding her because the wrap was doing most of the work. Also, the fact that the wrap is made of soft thin material, you don’t feel like there’s so much on you or claustrophobic.
If you ask me, Solly Baby is the way to go if you’re in the market for a wrap. Not only are they easy to use, they’re comfy as well as stylish! They have gorgeous prints and colors and OMG, I want them all LOL! Being a straightforward “how to use” wrap, this is a win.
Wraps don’t need to be frustrating like the one I bought. Wraps are meant for stress free baby handling and my first wrap was definitely not stress free. On the other hand, Solly Baby’s is and I’m so happy I own one and you should too!

Plus, Solly Baby carries such cute baby PJ’s and anyone who knows me, knows I love cute PJ’s. The fabric used is soft and breathable, just like their baby wraps. I want one for myself!
